Auclair has been crafting high-performance, long-lasting gloves built to withstand the harshest winters. As a brand deeply rooted in Canadian winter culture, we have always valued quality, durability, and respect for the environments we operate in. Today, our commitment goes far beyond product performance. We are dedicated to building a more sustainable future through a holistic approach that spans design, manufacturing, transportation, packaging, and social impact.

Products built to last and built for winter

Two standout models reflect our vision: the mountain adventure and Cypress GTX Active gloves. Made with certified veg-tan nubuck leather , recycled Primaloft insulation, Kevlar stitching and Yulex cuff (a natural latex alternative to neoprene), these gloves offer performance, durability, and a reduced environnement footprin. All our water-repellant treatments are nos PFAS-free, thank to partners like Rudolof Group and Stahl.

A strong commitment to people and community

We believe that a truly sustainable product begins with an ethical supply chain. That’s why 100% of our partner factories are audited by third-party organizations (BSCI or SMETA). In Montreal, our team reflects a commitment to equity, with perfect gender parity. Beyond our internal practices, we support various social and sports-related causes each year—including Dans La Rue, Maison du Père, POW Canada, and Fast and Female—with over $10,000 in product donations and financial contributions.

Looking ahead

We are currently preparing a glove repair and take-back program for 2026. Our packaging is now made from recycled or FSC-certified cardboard, and we are actively working to eliminate single-use plastics in our logistics processes.
