AUCLAIR//CITY TO SUMMIT

Since 1945

Auclair has been crafting high-performance, long-lasting gloves built to withstand the harshest winters. As a brand deeply rooted in Canadian winter culture, we have always valued quality, durability, and respect for the environments we operate in. Today, our commitment goes far beyond product performance. We are dedicated to building a more sustainable future through a holistic approach that spans design, manufacturing, transportation, packaging, and social impact.

Measurable progress on all fronts

In 2023, 28% of our collection incorporated sustainable materials such as recycled fabrics, veg-tan leather, or certified insulation. Our goal is to reach 75% by 2027—an ambitious target we aim to achieve through strong partnerships with our suppliers. Similarly, 16% of the leather we use already comes from Leather Working Group (LWG)-certified tanneries, and we are on track to reach 100% in the medium term. Additionally, 78% of our styles were carried over from one season to the next, promoting product continuity, repairability, and a reduction in textile waste.

Products built to last - and built voor winter

Two standout models reflect our vision: the Mountain Adventure and Cypress GTX Active gloves. Made with certified veg-tan nubuck leather, recycled Primaloft® insulation, Kevlar® stitching, and Yulex® cuffs (a natural latex alternative to neoprene), these gloves offer performance, durability, and a reduced environmental footprint. All our water-repellent treatments are now PFAS-free, thanks to partners like Rudolf Group and Stahl.
